The Naples Opera Society is meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at the NORRIS Center. The Program is a combination of arias and popular love songs for Valentine’s Day. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m., and the program is free and open to the public. Donations for expenses are always welcome!
The artists are Lindsey Graham, Johanne Nordilus and Elizabeth Drugan, sopranos. Janet Ortenzo, mezzo soprano, will join us with Livio Ferrari, tenor and Ron Bowman, baritone. Dr. Ron Doiron, conductor and artistic director of the Bach Ensemble, will accompany the singers.
Johanne Nordilus was the recipient of the Naples Opera Society scholarship as presented by the Naples Music Club. We look forward to hearing her and another young soprano of our community, Elizabeth Drugan, both students of Jean Seidel, NOS board of directors.
